PANEL 1
SOMEBODY IS COMING AROUND THE CORNER.
Jay: Well, he's the one who wants Rigel to have tests and surgery.

PANEL 2
AN AIRMAN CARRYING AN M16 RIFLE IS COMING DOWN THE HALLWAY BEHIND JAY.
Jay: Not me. I hate everything about this.

PANEL 3
JAY IS STILL SPEAKING. SIRIUS, HOWEVER, HAS HIS EYES ON THE AIRMAN.
Jay: And I don't get any say in it, because this is a medical thing, and my department focuses on social things. So people like Iris's opinions are the important ones, not mine.

PANEL 4
THE AIRMAN IS WALKING PAST JAY. JAY ISN'T LOOKING AT HIM; HE'S LOOKING DOWN TOWARD THE WALL, FRUSTRATED, AS HE CONTINUES TO SPEAK.
Jay: It doesn't matter how many times I point out the way medical things're handled cause psychosocial trauma, either. They do what they want, and--
Airman: Evening.

PANEL 5
JAY HAS FINALLY REALIZED THEY'RE NOT ALONE IN THE HALLWAY, IS SURPRISED, AND FALLS SILENT. THE AIRMAN CONTINUES PAST THE TWO OF THEM.
