I’m going back to the every-other-week schedule again after this page.

I can’t keep up with both this and other work at the same time. I’m rapidly falling behind on my other paid responsibilities while trying to update this every week and I can’t let that happen. If I was only doing this, it’d be fine, but I’m not making enough money to justify dropping everything else in favor of only doing the comic. I thought I could keep up with it–turns out, nah.

If you want me to eventually update more frequently, please pledge to my Patreon. Thank you.

PANEL 1
JAY TURNS TO FACE SIRIUS AGAIN, CONTINUING TO SPEAK.
Jay: But... B-But for you--

PANEL 2
SIRIUS HAS GOTTEN UP AS WELL, AND IS BEGINNING TO HEAD IN THE DIRECTION THE AIRMAN HAD GONE. JAY POINTS NERVOUSLY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS HE STOPS SIRIUS.
Jay: ... Um. W-we're going the long way back kiddo, c'mon.

PANEL 3
BEGRUDGINGLY, AND WITH HIS ARMS FOLDED, SIRIUS APPROACHES JAY. JAY HAS HIS ARM OUT TOWARD HIM, GUIDING HIM FORWARD. JAY CONTINUES SPEAKING WHERE HE LEFT OFF.
Jay: F-for you, everybody'll know exactly what the problem is as soon as they get Iris's report in the morning.

PANEL 4
THEY'VE HEADED AROUND THE CORNER, AND ARE GOING DOWN THE HALL. JAY HAS A HAND ON SIRIUS' BACK. SIRIUS STILL LOOKS IRRITATED.
Jay: So they're not gonna want anything major done like they do with Rigel.

PANEL 5
JAY FROWNS A BIT, AND RAISES HIS RIGHT HAND TO HIS MOUTH, THINKING.
Jay: ... Probably. At least... not until you hit puberty.

PANEL 6
SIRIUS IS STARING UP AT JAY, A STILL IRATE, BUT PUZZLED EXPRESSION ON HIS FACE.
Jay: ... God, I hope not, though--they shouldn't care about any of this...
Sirius: So why'm I getting tested in a week, then?

PANEL 7
JAY FALLS SILENT AND STARES AT THE FLOOR AS THEY BOTH CONTINUE WALKING. HE'S UNSURE OF HOW TO ANSWER. NO DIALOGUE.
