Jay sits up, suddenly curious. "... Why did you help Rigel do that, anyway?"
Leon's ears droop and his body language becomes tense. "Um." He rubs the back of his neck nervously again, not making eye contact with Jay. "He... promised to start giving me his lunch everyday." Jay stares at him, his mouth slightly agape and his brows furrowed, as if confused. "He kept his promise too," Leon continues. Jay's incredulous expression only intensifies. Leon notices this and begins to backpedal, "B-but I didn't know things were gonna get so crazy, I swear. I wouldn't have helped him if I knew."
