SETTING: A BARREN TRAIN CAR. THERE ARE HOOKS ON THE CEILING, AND CLAW MARKS ON THE WALLS AND FLOOR. JAY AND RIGEL ARE STANDING THERE ALONE. JAY IS IN STREET CLOTHES, AND HOLDING A COFFEE. RIGEL HAS BEEN MUZZLED, HIS ARMS ARE RESTRAINED BEHIND HIS BACK, AND JAY HAS HIM ON A LEASH. OUTSIDE, THEY ARE PASSING TREES AND THE OCEAN.

PANEL 1
Rigel, narrating: I had to be muzzled the entire time. And like, that sucks on its own, right? But it was also the middle of the day, so I didn't get much sleep.
Jay: I swear, if there's a next time, you won't need restraints. Treating you like this is nauseating.
Rigel, narrating: And Jay just... wouldn't stop whining.

PANEL 2
CLOSE UP OF RIGEL'S ARMS. THEY ARE BOUND TOGETHER BY A PAIR OF JOINED WRIST STRAPS. THE WRIST STRAPS ARE HOOKED TO ANOTHER STRAP AROUND HIS WAIST.
Jay: I forgot this was even a required thing until... well, today. Not that it would've made a difference, had I remembered. I need Ben here. I can write up all the necessary information and reasoning behind the change just fine, but I need him to actually present it. I'd do it if I could, but it's a safety issue, so it'd need to be discussed in person. Not email.

PANEL 3
RIGEL IS GLARING UP AT JAY AS HE SPEAKS, ANNOYED.
Jay: And last time I tried that, I, um... s-started crying, and had to leave. And that embarrassing shit doesn't happen to Ben, so... s-so there's always this... six month lag in progress when he's gone, because I'm...

PANEL 4
Jay: ... I'm fucking worthless, heh.
